A guided tour will provide you with a window onto the fascinating history of Japanese whisky and an up-close look at the facility where the magic all happens, Visitors can participate in seminars and events, as well as taste samples from the huge collection of whisky varieties showcased in the adjacent whisky museum.

The Yamazaki distillery’s Whisky Museum offers panel and video displays about the history of the distillery and Japanese whisky. The whisky library showcases some 7,000 samples of malt whisky. There is a tasting counter where you can (for a fee) compare the different types of whisky aromas obtained through aging or various distillation methods and enjoy tasting single malt whiskies from around the world. It offers a nice, relaxing environment where you can drink in the history of whisky.

It is strictly prohibited that parking neighborhood facilities without permission.
The distillery is located 20 minutes by car from the Oyamazaki Interchange on the Meishin Expressway (part of Oyamazaki Junction on the Keiji Bypass).
※Take Route 171 (toward Osaka) from the Oyamazaki Interchange and turn at the Minase intersection.
Important note to visitors: For your safety and to ensure the quality of our products, we ask you to follow the instructions of the tour guide and not to disturb other visitors while visiting our distillery. Underage drinking as well as driving under the influence of alcohol is prohibited by law. Soft drinks are available for minors and visitors who will be driving motor vehicles or riding bicycles. All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
