A guided tour will provide you with a window onto the fascinating history of Japanese whisky and an up-close look at the facility where the magic all happens, Visitors can participate in seminars and events, as well as taste samples from the huge collection of whisky varieties showcased in the adjacent whisky museum.

What is Icons of Whisky? Icons of Whisky

Sponsored by the British whisky specialty journal, Whisky Magazine, Icons of Whisky is an annual event held to honor the people and companies that have made great contributions to the whisky industry. The Yamazaki distillery received the Visitor Centre of the Year award in 2006 based on an evaluation of the facility that encompassed its overall atmosphere, the knowledge of its employees, as well as the level of hospitality and customer service.
