The International Spirits Challenge is one of the most prestigious spirits competitions in the world. It is held in London every year and hosted by the British publisher, William Reed Business Media. Today the ISC draws nearly 600 entries from 30 countries around the world in divisions spanning whisky, brandy, rum, white spirits and liqueur.
The number of entries has reached about 300 in the whisky division. A panel of master blenders, chief blenders and master distillers from distilleries in Scotland and beyond evaluate all whisky entries over a three-day blind tasting and award prizes to those that they unanimously agree to be the best.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is a premier international spirits contest sponsored by the US gourmet food and alcoholic beverage magazine, Bon Appetit and others. It is the largest such competition in the United States and puts entries through a rigorous appraisal process with blind tasting by journalists and buyers from hotels, restaurants, bars and major retailers.

The London-based International Wine & Spirits Competition is considered the world’s premier competition of its kind. Boasting a tradition that dates back to 1969, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious spirits competitions. Members of the alcoholic beverage industry closely watch the results from this event each year, along with the picks from the ISC and SWSC.
